We had a great experience at the Holiday Inn. The staff was great and our room was very clean. The only small issue was that our tub was clogged and it take forever for the water to go down the drain. We love the fact that all the restaurants and the beach is within walking distance. The area felt safe and was quiet. Other than that, we didn’t have any other major issues. I would stay at this hotel again.

I feel like the pool area needed lots of attention. The water was very chlorinated. It lookd run down outside the property, even with the new paint job. Lots of trash and weeds...

The staff was kind and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. Walking distance to several eateries and plenty of shopping. Within 5 minutes drive to the Beautiful beaches! Best advice given to me that I can pass on: Do Not park on the sugar sand, or your vehicle could sink and you would need a tow. ALWAYS take out more trash than you brought in! Make it a tradition to pick up some trash while visiting beaches...every little bit counts!

Overcharged in Destin Comfortable beds & clean room. Housekeeping cart left in main hallway 24/7. This was also around the corner from the front desk & next to the breakfast area. Difficult to handle luggage going in & out of hotel. This is also where 3 to 4 staff would congregate & block hallway. Food service staff grumbled to herself the entire time while working & glared at patrons. Very odd! Dining area & tables were not cleaned during breakfast. Only at the end of service time. We stayed an additional night & paid the hotel directly. My credit card was charged for an additional night the following day after leaving 2 hours before checkout. We have contacted the hotel directly for correction. They claim to not see an additional charge. We will refute the charge with our credit card. Only book & pay through ********** app from now on.

As it relates to the charge, I triple checked your reservation and for the first stay Aug 6-8, the hotel authorized your card for 50 which we released when you checked out. On Aug 8 I am seeing one charge of 179.67. So, I am unsure where that additional charge is coming from. However, you are definitely free to book and pay in a manner that is best for you. Thank you once again for the feedback and we will start to implement some steps to rectify these issues mentioned above.

The breakfast offered was wonderful. The toilet in our room wasn't working well and required numerous flushes. The front desk told us that desk lamp was unplugged because they can't get the correct light blubs. We paid over $300 a night for a room that should have cost under $200. But the staff was friendly and overall the stay was good.

The doors open and closing you can hear everything..people outside in the hallway you can hear them as well.

They were remodeling the lobby area and there was drywall dust everywhere! This was an open area with the breakfast lounge. I had to take my breakfast to my room.as did others. The breakfast was always hot and good, the room was clean. Had we known itthey were re modeling we would have stayed somewhere else.

Great, safe location! The staff was pleasant and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great! It was a quick 5-6 minute walk to the beach. I will definitely stay here again!
